I recently saw The Hoax in the theater. I give it a solid B. I would have higher marks, if it had not been reminscent of a "Beautiful Mind." However, the cast is strong and the story is intriguing. . . .

John Travolta as Edna Turnblad is simply amazing and most convincing as a woman.
