To meet other writers in the Washington, DC area and friends. We could meet once a month. The life of a freelancer is sometimes very solitary.
I get to DC fairly frequently. I live in Richmond, so any chance to get out of here, I take it. I have a bunch of family up there, but mostly further out of the city, Sterling and Fairfax. I really wonder how people get around up there, I work evening shift, so I usually don't start driving up there until after midnight, and the traffic is manageable then, any other time, it's ridiculous.
